Enjoying Some Girl Stuff ! ! !

Over the past month I participated in a hairbow swap with some other waiting moms. My new friends Ashley from Colorado, Angie from Georgia, and Kelly from Louisiana each sent Sophie two bows and I sent each of them two bows. First of all I must say how much fun it was to shop for BOWS... that is something I have never been able to experience and it made me really feel like the mom of a little girl! While shopping I stumbled upon the cutest and most clever creation from a pilot's wife in her neat little boutique. She makes headbands with a tiny loop on the front to attach the bows and change them as wanted. I of course had to get each of the girls one and Sophie one as well! Just look at the pics that follow....

PS... Thanks girls for including me in the swap! It was fun and I can't wait until the next one!!!

When you know that you know that you know your following God's plan for your life. . .

How is that for a family motto!!!

Social Worker Visit

Our social worker came to the house on Thursday morning to work on our homestudy update. We have all our paperwork done and are now waiting on her to type up the update. We are sending in our immigration renewal first thing Monday morning. Then we will be on the wait for an appointment in Memphis to get our fingerprints updated. Once all this is done, it will be good for 18 months. Hopefully and prayerfully, God will get us to China for Sophie before the renewal expires. Regardless, we know it is in God's hands! I don't know why He wants us to wait like this but I have to believe it is because He isn't ready for Miss Sophie's debut!

God is Good... All the Time!

PS: Our social worker brought her little girl whom she adopted from China with her for the visit! She is four years old and most beautiful. She loved Rodney! He had a fun time playing with her and making a new friend. They were quite smitten with each other. I can see already that he will be putty in Sophie's little hand!!!
