Thursday Pics

This is one of the days we were looking forward prior to coming to China because this is the day set aside to visit True Childrens Home, but we had to make a hard decision that pained us not to be able to do because they provided our child with so much other orphans aren't afforded. But with much pray, and taking in consideration our attachments issues we felt it would take us backwards in our situation. Breakfast was great again, then we took her to the big play room in the hotel where we played for 2 hours, we then went to drop off laundry and back to room. Rained most of day here, but did manage to get a Subway sandwich in, bought Sophie a couple small things and went back to room. We think she made some more progress today so keep praying for her to have peace with us, she has about wore moma out.

  7. I am now just catching up on your blog! First of all, congratulations on getting Sophie! I am so sorry that it has been a hard adjustment. It is great to follow along the same path this time virtually through you.... even though it's only been 2 months since we did pretty much the exact same thing as you (all the familiar pictures like pictures with Jenny Smith, the White Swan hotel room, the breakfast buffet) it brings back memories and it feels like SO long ago! Hang in there... everyday is a new day and I'll be praying for you and Sophie to be able to bond to everyone in your family very soon!
