Sophie update: I am sure you can tell from the last post of pictures she has grown so much height, hair, and mostly personality. In September our Early Intervention Therapist got us put on a list for Speech Therapy Services, where they come to our home for Speech just as early intervention, and was a huge success. She has grown so much in speech since then its almost unbelievable. She still has a stubborn streak, but i thinks is also called spoiled. Last visit to the Cleft Clinic in Birmingham was in October, got a good report all the way. She is asking alot of questions and saying alot of full sentences now,(talking our heads off). She is such a blessing and joy to have, at times it still seems unreal at far she has come.
One of the reasons that this blog has taken a backseat is more blessings that we have received. In March, Rodney took a promotion with Pepsi into management. In July Tammy received a promotion as well, she is now an Assistant Principal at New Hope Elementary School. With both of these, we work more hours and honestly a lot more stress, so spend most of our time with our children at home. We both feel overwhelmed at times, but know that it was right for family and careers. We are busy getting ready for a very special time of year, the season in which we celebrate the birth of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, without Him there is no Christmas. We as a family will always keep the true meaning on Him, and not ourselves or santa.
We pray the Lord will bless each of you during this time of year!
