Sophie turned 2 on Feb. 5th

Well Sophie girl has turned 2 on Saturday Feb. 5th, and she was treated like a princess, infact we had a princess party for her in pap's church activity building. We had 2 pricesses, an inflatable, food, food, food, and a big crowd showed up. Tammy had school so i got to spend all day with her and Bailee. On the following Wednesday we had our 6 month post adoption in home, and it went great. On Feb. 15th we took Sophie to see Barney live in Tupelo and she had another big time.
Since we have been home life has been one big party for Sophie and doctor appointments. Looking at the calendar it is not gonna change, we have more appointments coming as well as D-Now weekend coming up and Bailee has a birthday on the 8th of March.

This was her favorite animals!! I wonder why?

We woke up Saturday and decided to take a day trip to Memphis and take Sophie to the Zoo. The weather was pretty, temps in the 60's and sunny. Sophie enjoyed all the animals and we had a great day!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!! (late)

Well we are late again! Hopefully Tammy took her final test for her administration license today, so maybe she can do better about keeping the blog updated. To sum it up , Tammy had elbow surgery and she had a tough time with recovery, Sophie has had tubes put in both ears + numerous Dr. visits, about 7 Christmas gatherings, and Christmas Catata two nights @ church and we just got overwhelmed!
Sophie had a well visit with our Pediatrition on the 21st of Dec. and got 3 more shots (3 to go), she has grown from 25th percentile in Oct. to 50th this time, so she is growing fast. Otherwise she is great.
Tammy's birthday was on the 22nd and we went to eat Mexican (of course) just the 4 of us and Paps. Christmas was just an awesome time that we celebrated with Sophie. It was a crazy time from the gifts, to meeting alot family she had to meet. Tammy was sick the evening we had Christmas with the Aldridge family, so my plan was to get to mom and dads early before anyone got there so she could adjust easier to new people coming in slowly rather than going to a full house of strangers and it worked. She put on a show for everybody there and seemed very happy to play with the chidren. Christmas eve we spent the entire day with my immediate family at mommas then we made our traditional trip to WalMart right before they closed and Christmas Day was spent in our house. Lots of things run thru my head watching her and the only thing i could say was Thank You God!! Hopefully the pictures captured some of the joy and beauty of her first Christmas!
